The Perspective Loop

Mind CREW™ acknowledges that we don’t have a singular personality, but rather that we all have different parts that step up depending on the situation—like a Commander part that drives for results, a Relatable part that thrives on connection, an Encourager part that values support and stability, and a Watchful part that ensures accuracy.

The Perspective Loop is a handy tool to use when you notice a particular part has taken center stage for another person. You communicate directly with the active part, offering another perspective in a way that shows how it actually helps that part achieve what it wants. For example, if someone’s Commander part is laser-focused on results, you might introduce an Encourager perspective about team support and psychological safety—but land it in the Commander’s language: “That way, we can ensure results / won’t jeopardize results.”
