The BETTER & BETTERER Podcast

Conversations & mini-challenges across the 8 dimensions of wellness.

FEEL AWESOME. DO AWESOME.

Better and Betterer: A podcast about getting better at this thing called humaning - from the workplace to the weird, always amplifying love. We explore soul-centric personal and professional development, embracing both the 'human' and 'being' parts of our existence.

Through flowing, friend-to-friend conversations, we dive into practical wisdom and cosmic weirdness. We honor the intelligence of mind and body, knowing that our mindstuff and bodybiz are always working in service of our wellbeing. Drawing from approaches like Internal Family Systems, trauma-informed perspectives, and somatic understanding, we explore how to grow without treating ourselves as problems to be fixed.

Because here's the truth: your mindstuff and bodybiz are always trying to help you. Let's get better at listening.

Keep in mind that Better and Betterer podcast about embodying higher mind leadership - from the practical to the weird, but always grounded in love and always non-pathologizing -- because our mindstuff and bodybiz are always trying to help us. Soul-centric personal and professional development. Bettering the 'human' aspect of the phrase 'human being' & better REMEMBERING the perfect 'being' aspect.

Our Approach

  • We have genuine, flowing conversations rather than rigid interviews
  • Flows more like a genuine conversation between friends than a formal interview
  • We promote only non-pathologizing language***; if the conversation turns to pathologizing language, we'll talk about a reframe together

***What We Mean By Non-Pathologizing:

We draw from evidence-based approaches that honor the wisdom of mind and body, including:

  • Internal Family Systems (IFS): Understanding that all parts of us - even challenging ones - have positive intentions and serve protective roles
  • Trauma-Informed Perspective: Recognizing that our responses and adaptations make sense given our experiences and environment
  • Polyvagal Theory: Appreciating how our nervous system shapes our experience and responses
  • Somatic Understanding: Honoring the body's intelligence and its role in healing and growth
  • Parts Work: Seeing "symptoms" as protective responses rather than problems to eliminate

Instead of "fixing what's broken," we explore how to understand and work with our natural wisdom.
